Our Pricing System

How our pricing system works:

At Potter's House Thrift, we have a pretty unique pricing system, so we’d like to take a minute and explain how exactly it works:

Five-week Color Rotation:

We have five colors of price tags that we use for almost everything (see bottom of page for white/purple tags and craigslist tags). These five colors are GREEN, BLUE, ORANGE, YELLOW, and RED.

We price one color per week on a five-week rotation.

THE LONGER AN ITEM IS ON THE FLOOR, THE CHEAPER IT GETS!

• First two weeks= regular price
• Third week= 25% off
• Fourth week: 50% off
• Fifth week: $0.50 or less (Bargain Corner)

White/Purple tags and Craigslist tags:

• If you see a white or purple tag (usually on larger items), that item is full price.
• If you see a craigslist tag, that item is posted on craigslist. If it is still unsold after one month on craigslist, it enters the normal color rotation.
